Chocolate chip cookie cups. My first food blog.

I am not a food blogger. That's an animal I do not want to attempt to tame.  However, in the spirit that I am "The Baking Bride" and that I LOVE to bake and I love alliterations, this particular baked good is superior.
I'm forever in love with my KA, I feel it is only fair to let her shine. Norma Jean that is... Yes, I've named my Kitchen Aid after her matriarch, Norma Jean, Or G-Norma as I like to call her.  Anyway, I took Norma Jean for a ride last week and I'm just now getting around to sharing with you.

I made some cookie cups that were pretty delicious and here's how I did it.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

Here is a picture of what I used... (Photo features Norma Jean, ain't she purdy?)

First, cream together 2 sticks of butter, 1 1/4 C brown sugar, & 1/ C granulated white sugar.
Then add in 2 eggs, 2 Tbsp Milk and 2 tsp. Vanilla.  Just think of how yummy this is gonna be in the end.
It will look like homemade chocolate ice cream when this step is all mixed up... That's what I think...
Now, add 1 3/4 C flour, 1 tsp baking soda, 1/2 tsp salt to the homemade chocolate ice cream.

Then, pour in your semi-sweet chocolate chips to your heart's content... I use about 2/3 of the bag...
Now take your ice cream scoop and heap into a muffin/cupcake pan. (After you grease them, of course!)

Don't be crazy like me and forget that your Pam is not a dish to be washed and put it in the sink with the other friends that made these cookie cups possible.

Pop these babies in the oven and wait 8-9 minutes before round 2.....
Welcome to Round 2 and it's choco-peanutbuttery bliss....
When these are about half-way done, pull them out and put one or two Reese's cups in for an extra delicious touch.
Ah! It will be hot.  Don't touch the oven, making you momentarily forget the greater good here that is the cookie cup in your face. Even if you do though, don't blame the cookies. It wasn't their fault.
                                                                 Almost ready!

While you're waiting, let your husband have the treat of the extra cookie dough.

Let him really enjoy it.  If you don't have a husband, give it to your cat. If you don't have a cat... Well, What are you thinking? They are clearly the superior domesticated pet..... By the time your husband/cat is finished, your cookie cups should be finished!
Here we are fresh out of the oven
Don't mind my purply awkward fingers.  Focus on the cookie cup.

These should take about 15 minutes all together baking time to finish.  Share these with your friends, family, house cats galore, or whomever!  These are so easy and almost anyone will eat and enjoy them.  I love making treats for people to enjoy when they come over.  These were quite a hit!
Stay tuned for Katie's 21st birthday post!
 xoxo Sierra
